Is darker than your average Looney Tunes game, and has plenty of to go around. Especially in the Transylvanian Era. Even from the opening cutscene that pivots over the various eras, the Granwich theme takes a darker, more haunting turn when we see the entrance to the Transylvanian Era, as if the game is warning you what is in the distant future. The entrance is also marked by a spooky, gothic gateway with old lampposts, and you enter a crevasse that is dimly lit, and you see a winding road past a rickety fence leading to some scary looking towers.
The opening pivot of the Transylvanian Era takes you on a tour of the Ghost Town, and you get to see all the scary creatures of the night that roam this era. It then pans to a final, establishing shot of Count's Castle, which sits atop a hill to watch the rest of the dark kingdom, as if to say, 'this way to the endgame'. The music is also very dreary and dark, especially at the point when the camera shows the Castle. It's the Monstars from Space Jam! Only they're invincible and will chase you for an extended period of time if you get too close. The sleeping dragons in Count's Castle which the game warns you to not wake up.
Thankfully, they won't wake up, but there are three of them and they're colossal. In the Ghost Town, the backgrounds are just giant, vague buildings with lit windows.
While they're clearly just 2D backgrounds, they're no less scary as you imagine what could be out there in the distance. The 's from the skeletons hiding in the coffins throughout the era. The transformation of the ZooVania creatures - they go from cute, harmless plants, chimps and fish to bloodthirsty, snarling flesh-eating plants, demonic monsters, and piranhas. The various horrors that plague you on the river ride, including alligators and bats. You also have to pass through a large cave entrance that is in the shape of a golden, ornate vampire bat with glowing green eyes. The water is also a black, bottomless void. The is barely audible due to the sound effects of the water and Taz's spinning, but as scary as it is, maybe it's for the best.
Particular note goes to the grand, scary choir that begins singing at 0:17, and the last, suspenseful stretch that starts at 1:12 with the ominous cymbal clashes. If the Haunted River is the last major level you go to get a Boss Token from, the music makes it sound like you're on a suspenseful, all too fast race to the endgame that's approaching whether you're ready or not. The deserves special mention. It's so damn quiet, eerie, and downright scary.
Bugs Bunny & Taz - Time Busters for PC Longplay from start to finish. Played by paccopco. Software used: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 Fraps 3.5.9 Xpadder Sony.
The ominous choir that sings almost the entire time just screams 'evil' to you. Even the light flute that plays is little comfort considering you're in the lair of the darkest villain of the game. As quiet as the castle is, helped by this suspenseful piece of music, can lure you into paranoia that the Count is ready to pop out at any moment. In Count's Castle, the ghouls that chase you while possessing suits of armor and that try to drop chandeliers on you. Then comes the Count himself. After making only a brief appearance in the opening cutscene of his era, he goes all out trying to subdue you and drain your blood.
In one of the final cutscenes, he more than likely kills Daffy. As his boss fight progresses, Count outright announces, 'I'm going to taste your blood!' From that point on, it becomes frightening if you take damage and hear Bugs or Taz yelp in pain, because he just might be doing that. In an example of: After you push the first gargoyle into place, Count returns and goes on the offensive, opening a window to another gargoyle in the process.
If you try to bounce to the next ledge before successfully hitting Bloodcount, he immediately teleports in front of the ledge, meaning that if Bugs has gone to bounce on Taz's head, Count is right there waiting for him. The Bad Ending of the game. Bugs and Taz refuse to return to the game, tired from their long journey. Granny understands and accepts it, but asks what happened to Daffy. Bugs and Taz are apathetic and shrug.
Back in Count's personal chamber, a spookier remix of the Haunted River theme plays as Daffy swears vengeance on Bugs and Taz for leaving him behind. As a big shadow looms over him, Daffy loses his bluster and turns around in terror to find the Count, who says he looks delicious, as a swarm of his fellow vampire bats gathers for the feast.
Daffy runs off to the exit, but the Good Ending shows that Daffy isn't able to open the door by himself. Since this is the ending of this 'timeline', Daffy is almost certainly doomed to be killed and eaten by Bloodcount. The Good Ending also shows what this probably looked like, as Daffy fails to open the door and can only scream in terror as Count goes in for the kill. Daffy is teleported away at the last second, but Count's animation makes it clear he was going in for the bite right then and there. Elmer's Domain takes place on a winding road that is your only path in a dark, mountainous abyss, and it has countless scary-looking buildings with painted red eyes 'watching' you. One wrong step, and you fall to your death. Babba's Cave features a mini-game where if you fail, the game cheerily promises that 'the lions will take care of you!'
In the Aztec Era, Daffy is pursued by Aztec King, after stealing some of his gold. Bugs and Taz collect the gears and characters across the Era.
In the Baboon Realm, the two defeat Gruesome Gorilla before advancing to Sam's temple. When they reach Sam's quarters within the temple, Sam has tied up Daffy to make a sacrificial killing to please the Aztecs' Sun God. Daffy tricks Sam into letting him go to get Bugs and Taz as a 'two for one' sacrifice, but Daffy flees the room. After chasing Daffy through his temple, Sam battles and is defeated by Bugs and Taz.

However, Daffy escapes with the Time Gem to the Viking Era before Bugs and Taz can retrieve the Time Gem. In the Viking Era, Daffy tries to steal the golden hammer of Thor from Elmer Von Fuddinson , lord of the Vikings, but is struck by lightning by Elmer. In the Viking village, Bugs and Taz beat local Vikings in a race down a snowy path, and defeat Gas House by sending him in a frozen block of ice into the ocean. Bugs and Taz make their way through Elmer's domain and Daffy attempts to keep them away from 'his' hammer, only to be zapped once again by lightning from Elmer. Bugs and Taz proceed, and defeat Elmer by knocking him off a cliff presumably to his death, but once again, Daffy escapes with the Time Gem to another time in history. In the Arabian Era, Daffy once again tries to make off with a ruler's treasure, this time Babba Chop, the hulking leader of the Arabians. While he's chased away by an attacking Babba, Bugs and Taz once again collect all the gears and characters across the Arabian city.
They help retrieve a stolen lamp from a thief, return three pearls to a monument in the royal gardens, and even take baladi lessons from a woman in town. After returning the genies of earth, wind, fire and water to their lamps, Bugs and Taz go to find Babba still in hot pursuit of Daffy. Just like in the Aztec and Viking eras, Daffy escapes once more to a new era after Bugs and Taz defeat Babba by throwing him into large gongs four times. In the final era, the Transylvanian era, Daffy is confronted by the bloodthirsty vampire, who is ready to devour and suck Daffy's blood. Daffy seeks shelter in the Count's science lab, and drinks a potion that transforms him into a larger, more monstrous and green monster. In the Ghost Town, Bugs and Taz switch brains with three local monsters, gaining control of the monsters' more powerful and stronger bodies, and collect more gears previously unavailable.
The two take a ride down a haunted river (their most perilous 'ride' in the game), and come onto ZooVania, the Count's personal zoo of creatures that transform from peaceful, normal animals by day into horrifying, demonic monsters by night. After escaping ZooVania, the two proceed through the Count's castle, and arrive at his quarters. While trying to get in, Bugs and Taz are taken by the monster Daffy to Count Bloodcount, but when Daffy reverts to his original form, the Count decides to eat them all. Daffy flees trough the open door and Bugs and Taz manage to defeat the Count and finally do get the Time Gem, leaving Daffy behind to the Count when he runs in and as they return to Granny. There are two endings to the story from this point.
If Bugs and Taz either go back and find the last gears, or have already collected them all upon beating Count Bloodcount, then Granny restores the Time Regulator to its perfect state by put the last gear to its place or let Taz put the Time Gem above the Time Regulator. Daffy is about to be killed by Count Bloodcount, but finds himself transported back to Granny's house, where the Time Regulator sends fireworks to shut the gates to the different time eras for good. Daffy tries to confront Bugs, Taz and Granny, but he has been shrunken to an insect-sized duck.
Bugs sprays Daffy with his own pest spray as he notes that Granny should check before hiring her next exterminator. Bugs Bunny Everyone's favorite protagonist cartoon character is back and he is Lost in Time.again! Now, he must help fix Granny's Time Regulator. Bugs is wise, agile, and can perform a wide array of moves but he is not so much strong like Taz.
Use him for the missions that require precise or sneaky control. Taz Taz is here as Granny's sidekick/apprentice/'pet.' Granny has sent him to help Bugs in his quest. Of course, he doesn't totally sympathize with Bugs (he really loves rabbit.for dinner!).
Some of Taz's wild characteristics will be useful for tasks such as picking up and pushing really heavy objects or using his tornado spin to break through stuff. Unfortunately, he is too unpredictable to accomplish missions that require stealth and delicacy. Use him for missions that requires strength or spinning actions. Granny Granny acts as the guide and mentor in the adventure. In addition to teaching special moves, she reveals information and hints to guide you in the quest via the magic mirror. Because she must keep an eye on the Time Regulator, she can't directly participate in the adventure.
Her title is 'Granny Time,' a parody of. Tweety is another of Granny's pets.

He acts as a messenger when Granny wants to talk to Bugs and Taz. When they see him, they must get close to him and simply press the 'action' button.
Tweety will then put them in contact with Granny. Daffy Duck The primary antagonist of the game.
Aware that he can now travel through time using the Time Gem and become rich with all those treasures, he will roam the different eras to get as much as he can. Sometimes, he will also beg Bugs to save him from big enemies chasing him. For the majority of the time, Daffy is more of an annoyance than a real enemy. Bugs and Taz must get their hands on the precious Time Gem before Daffy causes any more trouble.
